Ms. Hiroko Kuniyoshi is a caregiver, taking care of elderly people. She does this so she can learn Uchina-guchi from the elderly. Usually, only people over seventy years old are able to speak Uchina-guchi fluently. The elderly in the facility also feel comfortable when they are spoken to or asked questions in Uchina-guchi. They also feel easy listening to folk songs and children stories of their home town. She does volunteer work using Uchina-guchi she learned from the elderly people.
